Dřevoplast – kompozitní dřevo

Kompozit, známý také jako dřevoplast, WPC nebo Woodplastic, najdete na  českém trhu jako řada různých materiálů s rozdílným složením. Naše kompozitní dřevo Terafest se skládá z polymeru HDPE a dřevěné moučky, dřevo pochází z lesů s certifikací PEFC. Pro výrobu této moučky využíváme pouze odpadní odřezky, takže naše terasy stromy neohrožují.

Díky své odolnosti proti nepříznivému počasí se Terafest stává stále populárnějším materiálem pro terasy. V zimních měsících, kdy jsou podmínky extrémní – od silných mrazů přes sníh až po trvalou vlhkost – se Terafest osvědčuje jako ideální řešení. Prkna Terafest mají delší životnost a vyžadují méně údržby než prkna z tradičního dřeva.

Pouze kvalitní WPC prkna

Pokud se rozhodnete pro WPC materiál, mějte na paměti, že ne všechny produkty na trhu mají stejnou kvalitu a mnohé z nich mají nejasný původ. Rozpoznat kvalitní WPC prkna není snadné a vysoká cena nemusí vždy garantovat kvalitu. Ve světě, zejména v Asii se během posledních objevily stovky nových výrobců WPC prken různé jakosti, což je důsledek velké poptávky po dřevoplastu. Nespokojení zákazníci si často stěžují na nízkou kvalitu zejména v případě dutých prken od neznámých výrobců, která se často během několika let deformují.

Kvalitní produkty si nakonec na trhu najdou své místo a nekvalitní zaniknou. Značka výrobce, kvalita a garance se snad i u nás stanou hlavními kritérii pro nákup.
